Product Description
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION QuantaFlex® is a series of UHMWPE-based hybrid fabrics including UHMWPE/glass fabric, UHMWPE/PET fabric, and pure UHMWPE fabric, warp-knitted multiaxial structure or plain-woven structure. QuantaFlex® is mainly designed as composite reinforcement solution. As UHMWPE fiber has excellent properties of high strength, lightweight, high modulus and flexible, it has density of 0.97g/m³, the lightest among reinforcement fibers, its tensile strength value 45cN/dtex weighs 2/3 of aramid fiber and only half of carbon fiber. Therefore, fabric made with UHMWPE is not only light but also has excellent tensile strength and tear strength. UHMWPE fiber is flexible and absorbs energy during plastic deformation. Its ability to absorb 1.8 times of carbon fiber, 2.6 times of aramid fiber and 33 times of E-glass fiber.
Polyester fiber is a synthetic fiber characterized by high strength, high modulus, and low water absorption, making it widely applicable in both consumer textiles and industrial fabric. As a textile material, polyester staple fibers can be spun independently (pure spinning) or blended with other fibers. Additionally, polyester exhibits excellent resistance to organic solvents, soaps, detergents, bleaching agents, and oxidizing agents, along with strong corrosion resistance and stability in weak acidic and alkaline environments.
QuantaFlex® PEPETP was UHMWPE-based hybrid fabric with PET (Polyester Fiber), its mechanical properties exceed ordinary polyester fabric. QuantaFlex® PEPETP fabrics treated with our patented technology achieve a surface energy exceeding 72 mN/m, enabling compatibility and robust bonding with diverse resin systems such as unsaturated polyester (UP), epoxy (EP), vinyl ester (VE).
